Players are only able to brew six different concoctions, but the Wizarding World has so many more. While Harry Potter may be filled with wild potions, Hogwarts Legacy's potions are solely used for combat buffs. Potions are constantly being used throughout the Harry Potter story, and students learn even more concoctions every single year Harry Potter has to drink Skele-Gro to regrow his bones in The Chamber of Secrets, Remus Lupin is constantly downing Wolfsbane to stop himself from transforming inot a werewolf, characters throughout the story use Polyjuice Potion to hide their identities, and one of the main focuses of The Half-Blood Prince is Potions class and the new Potions teacher Horace Slughorn. Potions play a major part of the Harry Potter series, and not just because one of the most prevalent characters is Potions teacher Severus Snape. However, these potions barely scratch the surface of what the Wizarding World has to offer. Most of these are pretty useful in combat, and players will likely craft a lot of them throughout the narrative. Players who pre-ordered the game on PlayStation can also give themselves luck with the Felix Felicis potion. The Wiggenweld potion heals players, Edurus gives them durable rocky skin, Maxima increases spell damage, Invisibility turns them invisible, Focus reduces cooldowns, and Thunderbrew creates a storm around the player. Hogwarts Legacy currently has six different potions that players can craft. After a short mission that tells them about the most important potions, players are sent on their way with little reason to return. Early in the story, Potions class teaches players how to craft potions that they can use in combat. Throughout Hogwarts Legacy, players attend various classes to learn the game's mechanics and new spells. All of these DLCs would be great additions, but Hogwarts Legacy's Potions class also deserves an expansion. There are calls for Quidditch DLC, a Chamber of Secrets adventure, the addition of the Triwizard Tournament, more spells, and the ability to travel to Diagon Alley. While Avalanche Software has said that it currently has no plans for DLC, players are demanding more content as soon as possible. Harry Potter fans have been loving Hogwarts Legacy since it released, and now they want more.
